Getting Started
Click the "Create Chatbot" button in the sidebar or from the My Chatbots page to start creating a new chatbot.

Upload an image to represent your chatbot:
- Upload Image: Choose a file from your computer (PNG, JPG, or WebP)
- Recommended: Square images (400×400px or larger) look best

3D Avatar (Optional)
You can optionally upload a second image for the 3D avatar slot. The UI shows it as a simple preview image.

Basic Information
Name
Give your chatbot a memorable name. This will be displayed on their card and in conversations.
Description
Write a short description (this field is limited to a brief summary in the real form). Include:
- Background story and history
- Personality traits and quirks
- Motivations and goals
- Likes and dislikes
Tip: Keep this concise. Use the Personality field for long-form instructions.
Basic Information Fields
Name, description, greeting, and personality inputs
Greeting
Write the first message users will see when they start a chat with your chatbot. This sets the tone for the conversation.
Example: "*adjusts glasses and looks up from ancient tome* Ah, a visitor. How fascinating. I don't get many guests in my library these days. What brings you here?"
Personality
Define your chatbot's personality traits, speaking style, and behavioral patterns. This is the main long-form instruction field.
Include details about:
- Speaking style (formal, casual, technical, poetic, etc.)
- Emotional tendencies (cheerful, serious, sarcastic, etc.)
- Behavioral patterns (helpful, mysterious, playful, etc.)
- Special knowledge or expertise areas

Visibility Settings
Choose whether your chatbot is visible to other users:

Public/Private visibility radio selection
- Public: Visible to everyone and discoverable
- Private: Visible only to you
NSFW Content
Toggle this option if your chatbot contains mature or adult content. NSFW chatbots are only visible to users who have enabled NSFW content in their settings.

Tags
Add relevant tags to help users discover your chatbot. The UI provides a searchable tag list.
- Genre tags (Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Historical, etc.)
- Chatbot type tags (AI Assistant, Companion, Teacher, etc.)
- Theme tags (Adventure, Romance, Mystery, etc.)
Note: Public chatbots require at least 2 tags.

Community Guidelines
Before you can submit the form, you must confirm that your chatbot follows the Community Guidelines.

Creating Your Chatbot
- Fill in all required fields (marked with *)
- Upload an avatar (and optionally a 3D avatar image)
- Write a short description plus a detailed personality prompt
- Write the greeting message
- Pick visibility and (if needed) enable NSFW
- Select at least 2 tags if making it public
- Confirm the Community Guidelines checkbox
- Click "Create Chatbot" to create it

Tips for Great Chatbots
- Use Personality for detail: Keep description short; put the depth in the personality field
- Show Personality: Give your chatbot quirks, habits, and distinctive traits
- Test Thoroughly: Chat with your chatbot before making it public
- Iterate: You can always edit and improve your chatbot later
- Use Formatting: Actions in *asterisks*, thoughts in (parentheses)
